I have decided that every second Friday of the month, I am going to share my favourite things that from the past two weeks. I see cute, trendy, sexy and interesting things all over the place and want to share them, but never known how.

Fav Website: http://www.neatfreak-sa.com/
I am trying to motivate myself to finish unpacking (I moved in 6 months ago), I wish that they would come and Neat Freak my house. The site contains awesome tips and resources to help you sort your mess out.
Fav Gadget: Mobile Power Pack (Tumi)
Anyone that knows me knows that I use my phone all the time! (Half my holiday photos include my BlackBerry) It is always going flat, and so I have chargers everywhere but can never find one, when I need one or find a plug point!
This little power pack allows you to charge your phone and MP3 player on the go.
Awesome if you travel a lot.

Fav Hotel: The Grand http://www.thegrand.co.za
I love, love travelling! So I am constantly on the lookout for hotels that I aspire to visit. This one has been added to my list. And it’s in one of my favourite cities: Cape Town!
An extract from the description in the Fairlady Mag, “an award-winning boutique hotel, decorated in distinctive Bohemian chic style. Step through the massive Indian wooden doors and discover a world of barefooted opulence, discreet escapism, romance and nostalgia.”
Don’t you just want to go there this weekend…..
Fav Shoes: Christian Louboutin http://www.christianlouboutin.com/#/the_collection
I will own a pair of Christian Louboutin’s, one day.
These are my fav shoes in the whole wide world!
All women should have a right to a pair of these. There is a ton of designs to go through on their site and they all so pretty, I am sure you will have a hard time choosing your favourite pair.
Oh did I mention, they cost a fortune – so start saving now!
Fav Blog: http://www.expensivemistakescheapthrills.co.za/
This 20 something gal will tell you exactly how it is!
I absolutely love her raw truth and honesty, with a not give a fuck what other people think attitude!
Go on, check out her blog….
Fav New Service: Rager http://rager.co.za/
Its official, traffic is back to its normal self – an absolute nightmare! I love the concept of Rager, unfortunately we need private services to assist with policing our roads and this is exactly what this service aims to do.
How does it work?
Simply put you, SMS the registration plate and offence through to a number. These records are kept and various actions are being put in place to address these offenders. (Check out their website for more information).
However the success of this service is dependent on the public using it to “police” from a community perspective.
Let me know what your favourite things are! And any other favourite category idea’s, so I can be on the lookout.

my favourite quote: Always live up to your standards – by lowering them, if necessary. ~Mignon McLaughlin, The Second Neurotic’s Notebook, 1966
I think my other favourite things this week:
- 3/4 sleeved cardigans
- dropbox (www.dropbox.com)
- my new airport express
- the fact that i now have two macbooks
- my photo-a-day of my Kid (www.flickr.com/photos/exmi365)
- Body Thrills Cupcake Frosting Body Polish
- granola bars
- Modes of Obscurity (SA rock bands make a depeche mode tribute) – it’s awesome.
The rager.co.za site is awesome! I can finally tell someone about all those rules-of-the-road violaters and they can do something about it! Thanks hunny!
I hate ExMi for having two mac’s when my one and only broke and dived to its death with depression and incompatibility.
Congrats on your new blog, Sez – I’m loving it so far. And Phillywilly did an awesome joblet on the design.
